World Vision

I want to share a cause close to my heart. The possibility of helping others in need through World Vision. I have a child my family has supported for a couple of years. It has been an absolutely amazing experience. I would ask you to consider the possibility of sponsorship.

This is a photo of my sponsored child. He is an amazing little boy from Brazil. The Bible has numerous verses citing the need to care for the poor. “All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do.” Galatians 2:10

There are other opportunities to give besides sponsorship. You can send care packages, buy animals, provide clean water, provide medicine any much more. Any amount of donation is excepted. There is also the opportunity to give to impoverished kids here in the United States. A child dies every 7 seconds. Many from starvation and diseases that could be treated. Take the time to visit http://www.worldvision.org and pray about the possibilty of getting involved. Let someone see the love of Christ through your helping hand.

    Jason:

World Vision is a great organization. Andy and I have contributed to it in the past. Another item to note is that many corporations will match employees contributions.

I know that The Home Depot turned our contribution of 2 goats and 5 ducks into 4 goats and 10 ducks! What a blessing. It’s very easy on their web page to check and see if your employer has a matching program with World Vision.

Thanks for all you’ve done on the blog page! Keep up the great work. Now let’s go and be Jesus’ hands and feet to the world!

You and your family are in our prayers!!
